1. Notice u/s 153A of the Income tax act 1961,dated 20/4/10 was issued in our case calling for the return of the income within 15 days from the Date of receipt of the said notice. Despite the time allowed by Central circle but return has not been filed with the specified period.
2. Central Circle prosecution proceeding launched against the return no filing u/s 153A as per provision of section 276CC of the Income Tax Act 1961.
Plz tell me what remedies or precaution of this Matter ??????????

You have to reply the reasons behinf not filing the return u/s 153A notice. Reason should be valid, suitable, acceptable otherwise they will consider it.
