19 October 2015 One of my friend had applied ST-1 and hadn't submit the documents in Department in 2014, So that his ST-2 had not issued by Dept.
But My friend collect the service tax from the parties.
Now he want to file his service tax return, then what we do now ?

19 October 2015 First of all if you collect the service tax than you must have to pay to governemnt .

so meet with your regional inspector and take service tax along with discharged the liablites.

19 October 2015 sir thank you so much.. but i have one query also... ok we will paid ST with interest which we had collect.. can we also apply for st-2 or any other option is also available for the return ??

on what basis have you charged service tax with your clien?

what is your trunover ?

19 October 2015 my service tax income is not more than 10 lacs.. we had charged st on st-1 basis and also shown on invoices
