Responding to notice under section 143(1)(a)

23 May 2018 I have received a notice under 143(1)(a). This is for a difference in income as under 26as and the filed returns. The difference is due to section 10.deduction which is reflected in Form 16. So I would like to respond under "Disagree".

The following are the diff reasons

1) HRA, 2) Fuel Reimbursement 3) Telephone expenses reimbursement 4) Children education allowance and 5) Conveyance allowance

Need help I cant find under which sections i need to mention 2) and 3) above. Rest are clearly specified.

23 May 2018 2)and 3) reimbursements should not be included under salary. If it is included under salary head no deductions available for this reimbursements under section 10..

23 May 2018 These are motor car allowance under 17(2)(viii) and Telephone under 17(2)(viii) sir. Should they not be included in salary. If thats the case should I ask the employer to remove and refile from their end or shall I file it in in response under "Any other reason (variance explained)"

24 May 2018 These are perks rightly added to salary can't claimed as deductions. Agree for the variance for these two items.
