If a partnership firm is in loss, is required to file income tax return for the ay 2011-12.

Need not to file,because there is no taxable income so no evoiding of tax. But firm loose the benefit of carry forward of loss and set-off.

If such firm is liable for tax audit u/s44AB then should be required to file.
