Reprint of pan card

02 March 2015 Dear Friends / Experts,

Please guide me on the following, IF POSSIBLE:

Query

Whether a Professional (Individual and not having any name for his Firm) can obtain PAN Card in his Office Address or Self-employed Individual (Professional) is prohibited to use his Office Address as per any NEW Rules of NSDL/Intermediaries for obtaining REPRINT OF PAN CARD.

02 March 2015 If office address is filled up, necessarily 'employer certificate in original' has
to be attached with the application form.
But a self employed person can't issue such a certificate to himself/herself since an individual can't act in dual capacity as employer and employee at any point of time.

ps:- There is no change in rule 114 of the IT Rules,1962.

04 March 2015 While I am aware that Employer Certificate applies for Salaried Persons only, my query is

How can I have REPRINT OF PAN CARD for Professional (Individual) wants Address for Communication as Office only?

I am able to attach Verification Certificate of Gazetted Officer's for the Address for Communication - here it is Office.

05 March 2015 OK.Then try with that. But the certificate should be in the prescribed format given in the following link. Also copy of the ID card of the Gazetted officer is required and is a mandatory attachment.
