i am charging a rent of Rs 5 lac per annum from my tenant for a commercial use.
is it mandatory for me to get registered in service tax ? please confirm.

30 March 2015 Since taxable service below basic threshold limit of Rs.10 Lakhs, no need to register now, once the value cross Rs.9 Lakhs then you have to register
