Dear all
i am charging a rent of Rs 5 lac per annum from my tenant for a commercial use.
is it mandatory for me to get registered in service tax ? please confirm.

Since taxable service below basic threshold limit of Rs.10 Lakhs, no need to register now, once the value cross Rs.9 Lakhs then you have to register
