Dear All
Our Company pays rent to the premises owned by employee which let out by the employee himself.What is the tax has to be deducted on such payments?
As rent or as Salary?
Kindly advise..

deduct TDS on rent if amount is more than Rs. 180000/- per annum
@ 10%
