Renewal procedure of registration u/s 80g

what is the renewal process for registration u/s 80G? If the renewal date lapse 3 years ago, than we have to apply for fresh registration?

i believe with effect from CBDT circular 7/2010 the validity is for perpetuity. please refer http://jaihindcid.in/files/2012/02/Notification-80G-Life-Time-80G_Circular_No_7.pdf

No need to renew if expires on or after 1.10.2009 by virtue of omission of proviso to clause (vi) of section 80 G (5) of the Income tax Act,1961.
