13 November 2013 Hello,

Could any one please explain, while calculating T.D.S. , should employeR consider relief U/S 87A?

Or is it to be claimed by an employee while filing return?

14 November 2013 employer can consider the rebate while calculating TDS. However, this should be done only if the employee has undertaken that all the income from any source whatsoever has been declared to the employer.
