Is wife's brother included in relatives definition as per companies act?

Yes as per section 6 of Companies Act husband and wife shall be traeted relative of others.

The definitions of relative is given under section 6 of the Companies Act, 1956.
A details list of relatives has been given in schedule IA of the Companies Act, 1956. As per this section, a wife husband will be included as relative.
The provisions of Section 6 and Schedule IA will apply to all company whether it is public company or private company.
