Dear Sir,
please clear me, Whether A society registered by a members of Housing board colony in Society Registration Act, 1860 and not registered u/s 12AA of Income Tax Act, 1961 can claim exemption u/s 11 of Income Tax act, 1961. If not in that case whether it get registration u/s 12AA of Income tax Act.

No.. To claim exemption under section 11, you need to have registration done under 12AA
