If X sell land in FY 15-16 (which is inherited by him), then what is cost of acquisition for him and what is indexation?

In case of inherited land cost of acquisition is the same as that of the person from whom such property has been inherited and period of holding shall be reckoned from the date on which that person has become the owner.
