01 March 2018 SIR I HAVE FILED RETURN AFTER DUE DATE FOR A.Y. 2017-18, DATE OF RETURN FILED i.e. MONTH OF NOVEMBER. IN RETURN, THAT TIME ASSESSEE GIVEN WRONG ACCOUNT NUMBER. SO, NOW THIS RETURN CAN BE REVISED WITH CORRECT ACCOUNT NUMBER IS POSSIBLE?. AND WHAT IS THE DUE DATE FOR REVISED RETURN. IF THERE IS ANY CONSEQUENCES?

03 March 2018 No need to revise return in fact return can be revised only in case of any alteration in returned income. You should wait for return processing by CPC and then refund failure. Then you can file online application for bank account number change.
