I cleared ipcc in first attempt in may 2012. Joined articleship in nov 2012 and continued till jan 2013. Due to some issues I totally ignored CA course and joined BCOM. Now I want to rejoin CA. What should I do ??

✅ Step-by-Step: Rejoining CA after Long Gap
🔹 1. Check Validity of IPCC Pass
Your IPCC (now called Intermediate) pass remains valid for re-registration under the current scheme, but only if you're transitioning as per the CA New Scheme of Education and Training (2024).
You need to convert to the New Scheme (mandatory).
ICAI now allows direct conversion for IPCC-qualified students.
📝 Action: Apply for conversion to Intermediate under the New Scheme through the ICAI Self-Service Portal.
🔹 2. Re-register for Intermediate (if needed)
If your previous registration has lapsed (validity is 4 years), you must revalidate by paying a small revalidation fee (₹400–₹500).
📝 Revalidation is also done on the Self-Service Portal.
🔹 3. Complete ICITSS (if not done earlier)
Before rejoining Articleship, you must complete:
ICITSS (Information Technology + Orientation Course)
If you’ve already completed these earlier, check if revalidation or fresh attempt is needed.
🔹 4. Rejoin Articleship
Since you only did 2–3 months of articleship earlier:
You'll need to start fresh with Form 102 & 103 (Articleship deed).
ICAI may consider your old period, but confirmation depends on their approval (write to your regional office for clarity).
Find a CA firm and submit fresh Articleship forms online.
🔹 5. Register for CA Final (after Intermediate + Articleship criteria)
Once you've:
Completed Intermediate under the New Scheme,
Done 6 months of articleship,
You can register for CA Final.
