pls let me know the procedure for registration of trust and the documents required.-Ca mamta Parsekar

1) Procedure for income tax registration.
Section is 12A (1)(aa) of the Income tax
Act,1961
Rule is 17 A of the Income tax Rules,1962.
Form is Form No. 10 A of the Income tax rules,1962.
Enclosures are :-
1. trust deed.
2. accounts(financial statements) of the trust for the last three years,if any, in the case of existing trusts.
2) procedure for trust deed registration.
The trust deed executed in stamp paper of appropriate value should be registered in the jurisdictional sub-registrar office to which the the registered office of the trust belongs.

To register trust for income tax above is the procedure.
To register the trust to Charity commissioner under Dharmdaya Aayukta is different
First you need to registered trust to Dharmadaya Aayukt who gives you registration number.
