Dear Sir/Madam,
I am trader of fabric in Delhi, and Fabric is excise exempted and the our suppliers(Manufacturer) is charged this from us,
Now he demand from us the Form "CT-1" to make it exempted for him and us.
Please advise could we take registration in Excise or not, if yes then how Or how may we make it exempted?

Excise duty on branded garments and fabric is exempt from excise duty. No need to take central excise registration. Trader can execute the bond and after execution of bond excise department can issue CT-1 for export of dutiable of goods without payment of duty. This is not applicable for DTA sale.
