Registration is required only once. When you fill the exam form mention the group you want to appear in. No need to wait for another 9 months.
In other words PCC exam can be given at every 6 mnths.

BUT IN REGISTRATION FORM THERE WERE SEPARATE OPTIONS FOR REGISTERING FOR IPCC GROUP 1 AND IPCC BOTH GROUPS .I TICKED GROUP 1 ONLY . SO I WOULD HAVE TO REGISTER FOR IPCC GROUP 2 AGAIN ?

Yes, you are right — since you initially registered only for Group 1 of IPCC, you will need to register separately for Group 2 if you now want to appear for it.
But here’s the clarification on the 9-month condition:
✅ Summary of Your Situation: Condition Explanation Registered for Group 1 only ✅ Done in December Want to register for Group 2 now ✅ You can register separately Do you need to wait another 9 months? ❌ No — The 9-month wait counts from initial registration 🔍 ICAI Rule: As per ICAI guidelines:
"A student must complete 9 months of study period from the initial date of registration into the IPCC course (not separately for each group) to be eligible to appear in exams." So, even if you register for Group 2 now, your original IPCC registration date (December) will be considered.
That means:
✅ You are **eligible to appear in Nov exams for Group 2 as long as: You complete registration for Group 2 in time You have completed orientation and ITT (if applicable) You fill the exam form correctly (selecting Group 2) ✍️ What You Need to Do Now: Apply for registration in IPCC Group 2 through ICAI (can be done online) Ensure you register well before the exam form deadline When exam forms open (usually in August for November exams), choose Group 2
