08 February 2016 A company is registered under service tax under Educational Service Provider, The company has availed service from a Lawyer and also from Cab Hire. As the service tax will be payable under reverse charge mechanism, do the company need an endorsement in the registration certificate? Also if yes, will the endorsement will be as service provider or service receiver?

08 February 2016 Yes the registration certificate needs to be amended. You have to register for services covered under reverse charge.
