Respected Experts,
I have been issued the TDS certificate on the tax deducted on fixed deposit account by the bank. The TDS certificate issued by the bank is consolidated(pertains to Whole year)and further it does not contain eight digit Receipt number. Can i claim for the new tds certificate format( i.e quartely and with receipt no.)? Kindly Reply Soon.

Yes you can ask the bank for TDS certificates as provided by statute. I will suggest before that you should check your Form 26AS as to whether Tax deducted by bank has been credited to your PAN a/c. If it has been correctly credited then TDS certificate will be for records only.
