DEAR CA CLUB FAMILY MEMBERS,
MY QUERY IS REGARDING SERVICE TAX REGISTRATION.
IF A NEWLY CREATED COMPANY REGISTERED THEIR SERVICE TAX REGISTRATION BY MISTAKE AS NON ASSESSE
1)COULD IT CAUSE ANY PROBLEM TO COMPANY?
2)HOW TO CHANGE IT TO ASSESSEE AND WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO BE FOLLOWED?

Go to the ACES site and amend it and handover one copy of the amended Application to the Jurisdictional Service tax range office.
