Regarding Service Tax Payment.

We have taken registration number in central excise and want to pay service tax demand , however the code for that service is not available on the site then whether other duties code can be used or new registration is required??

You can use a generic or residual code that is closest to the service you provide. The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) has provided a list of generic codes that can be used when a specific code is not available.
Better to Reach out to your jurisdictional Range/Division Officer or the Central Excise/Service Tax authorities and explain the situation. They may:
Provide guidance on using an alternative code
Suggest creating a new code (if feasible)
Offer assistance in updating the system to include the service tax demand tab.
