15 January 2013 Dear Friends ,
I have a query please help me in this matter. If a bank deduct TDS on interest income while we have submitted Form 15G but by mistake bank deducted TDS . Bank did not enter the Pan no. of deductee thats why they deducted 20% TDS on interest income . While i check 26 AS it does not show the TDS credit because bank did not entered the PAn No. I complain to bank for this matter then they told that we inserted your Pan no but the credit of TDS is not showing in 26 as But they give me 16A . I want the refund of this 20% TDS. Assese does not have any other income except this . How I can get my Refund. Please Give your Replies .....

15 January 2013 Please follow up the matter with the Bank Officials. Unless credit in Form 26AS appears, you will have difficulty in getting the refund.

15 January 2013 talk to bank personels. they need to revise their return.
this credit must be shown in 26AS. otherwise you will not get refund.
