30 July 2011 Dear Sir,
One of client has paid the house rent but rent receipt was not submitted to his employer now he has received the form 16 want to claim the exemption of hra, will he has uploaded the return online whether he has required to submit any other document with acknowledgement to claim the refund.

30 July 2011 If the return is pertaining to assessment years 2010-11 /2011-12, return can be filed in paper format / electronically. Claim HRA benefit under section 10(13A) of the Income tax Act,1961. No enclosures are required for filing the return.
