Dear Sir/Mam
I want to know how to generate a xml file of Rectified return. In other means how to file a rectified reture.Whether there is any Seprate Return type for this or it is be filed through same Income tax utility by opting option as original return.
Please reply soon as soon as possible. It will be a great help on your part.

there is no seperate itr for same but while filling revise return then select return u/s 139(5)

if u want to file a revised return then opt fpr revised return under sec 139(5)

Sir I want to only rectify the mistake of income of one head wrongly shown in other head in original return. Then what should I do

there is no other way then to file revise return in this case

provided u had filed the itr within due date u/s 139(1) and time limit to revise return has not lapsed u/s 139(5)

Rectification of return can be submitted u/s 154 in case submission of revised return is not possible.
