19 March 2012 Thanks for your reply sir but should I create separate ledger as a Recruitment Charges? or else should I add this expenditure under professional charges?. I am little bit confusion because one of my friend told me that the recruitment charges comes under professional charges. Is it correct or wrong?

Please help me for the above issue. Thanks

21 March 2012 Professional charges is a very broad head. It covers many expenses.

If you see from the point of view of TDS, yes they are professional expenses and TDS should be deducted on the same.

However, you should open a separate account as it gives clarity regarding the nature of the expense.
