Raw cashewnut sale by agriculturist taxability under gst

16 February 2018 Dear sir....
My client having cashewnut farm and he is selling raw cashew nuts to the traders. I want clarity whether sale by agriculturist is taxable under GST or not. If exempted, kindly give me the notification regarding this.

16 February 2018 In case of cashew nuts, not shelled or peeled supplied by an agriculturalist to any registered person would be chargeable to GST by applying RCM. Only traders have to pay GST under RCM.

16 February 2018 Sir,
That means the Trader who is purchasing the Raw cashew nut has to pay the GST on RCM basis and we need not levy gst on our bills.
