26 December 2013 Dear sir

in f.y 13.14 government declare extra rs.2000/- deduct in salary

individual income after deduction is Rs.220000/- then he is not liable of tax , am i right ?

how to present this clause in form 16

Its rebate u/s 87A, so you have to give deduction of Rs. 2 lakh only & there after from total tax payable you have to give Rs. 2000. rebate.

If tax payable is less than Rs. 2,000. Then no tax payable by employee.
