P.SHIP CO.HAVING ONE PARTNER IN MAHARASHTRA & OTHER IN GUJARAT [HO & BRANCH] , IS IT COMPULSORY TO PAY BOTH PARTNER P.TAX IN GUJARAT AS WELL AS IN MAHARASHTRA BCZ OF ITS A STATE TAX , PLS CLARIFY.

if the firm is registered under both the states, then professional tax is required to be for both the states.
