Profession tax

14 May 2010 I was working for a firm till Sept and they have deducted profession tax of Rs.2500/-. Then I changed my job and the new company also deducted profession tax of Rs.4500/-.

Can i claim the total amount of Rs.7000/- as a deduction from my salary in income tax return.
