Hi i want to know what is the procedure of claming refund after filling Income tax return(ITR-1) of Employees & how long it will take for processing.

you just have to file. any excess tax paid is refunded to the employee...time taken varies...normally refund cases are processed as late as possible but within assessment time

you can claim the refund of tax with filing of income tax return . if you file return with in due date and not fill any column then you file revise return with correction.

if excess amount is paid then by filing itr 1 u will get the refund.
