ABC is a firm engaged in the business of courier agency.

ABC is an assessee registered with service tax.

ABC serves for Branded Courier, First Flight.

Query

What is the general procedure for availing service tax credit for the firm, ABC ?

Can the firm avail service tax credit on all the bills (in the firm name) raised by the suppliers ?

Whether any specific registers to be maintained.

10 September 2010 Cenvat credit can be claimed as per applicable cenvat credit rule( Cenvat for input services and Cenvat on capital goods can be claimed)

For claiming Cenvat credit, the invoice may not be in the name of firm, but it should be related to the out put service

Need to maintain the Cenvat credit taken and utilised full details in a register
