08 October 2010 Hi I completed 5 Yrs in 2 companies till date. I transferred PF from first to second company. Now i want to withdraw this PF. Can you pls tell me whether it will be taxable?

08 October 2010 No.. there will be no tax as the account is in continuation for more than 5 years...

08 October 2010 Thanks for reply. In first company PF trust it was 2 Yrs and then transferred it to new company PF trust for 3 Years. Whether in this case also there is no tax ?

08 October 2010 yes.... the condition is : there should not be any withdrawal for continuous 5 years.
