Please advise whether personal injury Claim received from Singapore to any Senior Citizen in India is Taxable.

Senior Citizen went to Singapore for personal visit and while roaming in Snow city park he fell down due to hole in carpet or carpet was torn/cut.Negotiations were done and claim from Solicitor of Snow city park received after 4 year now after deducting their fees. It is physical injury claim from that Snow City Park

It needs to be further researched , but from the facts it seems that the nature of receipt is not in nature of income, since the money is not received from an insurance Company.
