Yes, they too are required to file ITR.

18 August 2007 There is no differentiation between civilian and Armed personnel in Incom tax Act. All assesses who have taxable income must file the ITR.

18 August 2007 Yes! There is no exemption to armed force personnel from filing income tax return.

However, in most cases returns are collected at their Unit Level and send to concerned ward/circle.
