we had sale material in 2010 AGST C FORM
now party not able to issue C form
What is the penalty rate in hmachal and what is the rate of per year penality.

Please let us know

04 July 2014 No penalty levied on non submission of C form.
But you have to pay diffrence amount of concessional rate and vat rate.
And Interest thereon.

For example. :-
Vat rate - 5 %
then you have to pay - 3%
[ 5%- 2%(concessional rate)]
and interest thereon.

1% already paid---- 4112.
13.75% full tax---- 56541
After 60 day tax paid double 113082
intrust 1.5% per month on total value 6168
Intrustof 17th month 104856

Total tax + Intrust 217938

is this calculation is correct

04 July 2014 No, if Vat rate is 13.75% then

Vat rate- concessional rate
13.75- 1 = 12.75
so that
411210 * 12.75% = 52429
Interest @ 1.5% = 786
for 17th month = 13362

total tax + interest
52429 + 13362= 65791

But as per tax rule value to be doubled if we paid and inform to sales tax after 60 days..
Then we are lible to pay double full tax..is it.
As per himachal govt.rule.
