15 June 2009 Dear sir,
My PCC attempt is in November 2009, till now i didn't take any coaching, am going to attend classes from July, by the time i completed my coaching there is no time for preparation, please suggest me whether it is best to attempt single or both groups if single which group is better? and how to prepare for exam.
please suggest me!

16 June 2009 I guess u must be on a leave from July 2009 for studies from your articleship. So then you have whole day to study excluding the time for classes. I guess it will be a crash course wat u must be going to do. Therefore you attend the classes and make it a point to revise whatever is thought in classes on the same day itself. So the concept will permanentely understood by you and once you revise it on the same day it will be remembered for a long time and to revise the same in the end days will not take much time.
You did not mention for how many subjects u are taking classes for. I assume u are taking for 3 subjects accounts, costing FM & TAX. So once the practical part has been started in classes you can start studying the rest of the 3 theory subjects and go parallel i. e. both theory and practical on the same day. If you devote the full 4 months in the above manner 4 months learning would be sufficient for you givng both the groups and clear it out in the first attempt also.
I advise you to give both groups together because i have seen articles even in my office getting clear because of set off in either of the groups. I don't say you prepare one group in a better way and not give much time for the other. Prepare without thinking there are any set off rules. And now stop worrying and start preparing as i had myself studied only for 3 months (with 1 months coaching still on) for PE - II exam and cleared it in first attempt. So even you can clear it.
The golden rules study, study and study and dont think i will not do a particular topic as there are options in the paper.
Remember there are no shortcuts to sucess.
