03 September 2009 Can anybody help me in giving the section/ circular/ notification no. which says that the tax deducted at source in case of adjusting enteries on the last date of the accounting year can be paid till the date of filing of returns? Its very urgent

04 September 2009 The due date of paying TDS deducted on the last day of the accounting year is 31st May. But if the same is paid upto the due date of filing return and will not be disallowed u/s 40(a)(ia) though TDS will be late paid.
