Partner in a CA Firm - Restrictions

11 January 2011 What are the restrictions on a Chartered Accountant carrying on his individual practice on becoming a partner in a CA firm.

Can he carry on his individual practice and sign tax audits in his individual name or is he required to mention the firm registration number also on the tax audit reports?

Is there are any other restriction or limitations?


12 January 2011 He can take tax audit on behalf of firm or as a individual capacity.
