Paid up capital

This query is : Resolved

01 July 2012 Sir,
Please give differences between paid up capital and paid up share capital?

Thanku.

01 July 2012 Hi

Both have the same meaning Paid up capital includes, paid up capital of preference and equity share capitals.

02 July 2012 Sir but i think the amount of share forfieture and share warrant are not included in paid up share capital.

02 July 2012 Hi

Share forfeiture arise when total amount or call money has not been paid, so until all money against shares issued.

Yes, share warrant are issued with an option to convert in to equity share capital, so until they are not converted in to equity share capital, they will be shown under different head..like Money Received against Share Warrants.
