08 August 2012 One of our service provider of manpower supply provided service in June ,Bill raised in June but he was paid in July'2012.

Is reverse charge of service tax applicable on his bill ?

08 August 2012 In my opinion, only service receiver has to deposit tax 75% of the bill amount as per the point of taxation rules, even though the bill is raised in June 12. SP has no liability,under reverse charge since he raised his bill in june 12.

I repeat, the answer given by me is purely my opinion after studying various articles/ clarification by the Finance ministry and CBEC and Department. Pl Wait for the other experts opinion also, if you are of contradictory view on my opinion. But it is not correct to write "Are you sure"
