07 January 2014 Dear Experts,
I have received a notice from IT department under section 143 for refund of Rs. 60.What should I do now?Should I meet It officer? or should i ignore as the amount is under Rs. 100 ?

07 January 2014 if it is a refund, then you dont have to do anything, they will credit the same.

but its not refund ...It shows that I should have paid Rs. 60

07 January 2014 well then it is advisable to pay unless you have a past years' refund pending from the department in which case, the department has the option to set-off.
