Sir,
We received Notice U/s. 148 within the meaning of section 147 of I.T Act 1961 for A.Y 09-10 IN Jan-13.We filed our IT Return for A.Y 09-10 in September-2009 having gross income above 10 lacs.The notice issued by local Income Tax Officer.So I want to know that the notice is valid or not valid.

if the gross income is 10 lakhs or more then the time limit is 6years from the end of relevant AY.
