Notice u/s 148

22 October 2013 My client was served notice u/s 148 in May-2012. Assessee expired in Sept-2013. My client received another Notice in oct 13 calling certains details. Now what to do ? Whether proceeding can be dropped by submitting Death certificate of Assessee ?

22 October 2013 No then the proceedings will be continued with the legal heir you must meet and write a letter to AO and ask for some time for ans tghe notice..
