I had filed my returns (ITR -4) well in advance for AY 2016-17. Mine was a no-account case and hence hadn't filled P&L and Balance Sheet. Yet, I see in the website (incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in) under Dashboard - >"My Pending Actions", there is a notice u/s 139(9) error code 31.
But, I haven't received any email with the notice till now. I am not able to "agree" to the defect and upload a new XML because I am asked for the PIN/password as received in the notice.
Yes, If I have to agree to a defect and upload a new XML, it is asking for a PIN which I don't have. The PIN is supposed to be part of the IT Notice. I haven't received the notice by email. I can only see it under Pending Actions.
