What is notice period or notice in Jobs in India? Is there any notification / rule for notice when leaving or terminating from job

04 January 2016 When a employee resigns from the organisation he has to serve notice period to his employer as per the terms of the Appointment/Confirmation letter. There is no such notification or specific rule. Notice period duration varies from organization to organization.
