Dear Experts,
I have an urgent query which requires urgent redressal.
My relative wants to e-file his ITR returns by himself. In the previous years, he used to take the help of a professional who filed his returns on his behalf. This year, he wants to file his own ITR himself. Being unable to obtain the password from the professional who refused to share it with him, he followed the usual procedure by going into the " Forgot Password" option. He selected the OTP option and gave the address of his new registered mail id and Mobile no. This way, he managed to reset the password. But unfortunately, a mail went to the previous existing mail id of that professional as well and he denied the request of that Password Change.
As a result, my relative was unable to get access to his own efiling account and thus could not file his ITR.
My question is whether there is any other option by which he can get access to his account and file his own ITR?

call on the number 08026500025 and after selecting the language option, explain the same to the officer attending your call. Keep your PAN card, Income Tax return, Bank account number etc...ready..... The officer will ask you some questions to verify the genuineness of what you are saying.....ok? All the best.

and one more thing.......Normally a professional behaves in this fashion when there is some issue regarding PAYMENT of fees. Please dont hesitate to pay the professional fees.
