Sir, I have filed a return of individual and it has been successfully e-verified but it is not yet processed by Income Tax Department what to do?

that is what i am trying to find out.... "the intention" to get the FY 2016-17 return processed within 6 months of the end of financial year.....

In a meeting with CPC staff at Bengaluru branch of SIRC, it has been said that the income tax department wants to reduce the ITR processing time to 15 days in the cases of NO QUERY returns. To a great extent, this was nicely followed by CPC; till last year. This year, however, CPC has changed its stance. A mere difference of some amount in form 16 and 26AS..... and the return is kept unprocessed..... Either check your dashboard frequently if any such discrepancy is noted by department ELSE wait till it is processed.
