29 July 2009 Can a stamp purchased from Gujarat be used for a leave and licence agreement to be registered in Maharashtra or it has to be purchased from Maharashtra only?

30 July 2009 No, stamp duty being a state subject the stamp paper purchased in one state may be used in that state only.
