Pls let me know that, is there any expiry for stamp paper?
Can we use old stamp papers purchased more than six months prior to the date of execution?
or
Can we use latest stamp paper for execution of back dated/ prior dated agreement?

Reply with any case/ notification/ judgement if any.

22 June 2011 Unused stamp paper do not have any expiry period because section 54 of the Indian Stamp Act,1989 does not contain life / expiry period.
Citation :- Supreme Court decision dt 19/02/2008 in the case of Thiruvengada Pillai Vs Navaneethammal & Ors.
