23 July 2008 Can a company have negative EPS ? Can we show negative EPS in Balance Sheet or just 0 if it is negative.

23 July 2008 In case of loss incurred by a company its EPS will be negative EPS.The presentation of EPS is to be given as per clause 9 of AS20 according to which Basic and Diluted EPS are to be shown even if the EPS is negative.

19 March 2013 in case of Net loss. company does not pay preference dividend. still do we need to deduct preference dividend for calculating EPS?
